We have the Blue Ridge Mountains. And Monticello. And the University of Virginia. But one of my favorite places is the dump.
Seriously.
First of all, it’s clean. (Like a lot cleaner than our basement which, 17 years in, I basically just shoveled out. Thus the trip to the Ivy Landfill.)
It has amazing views.
There is salvaged art all over the place — curated and displayed. Even the help kiosk.
And there are nice people who make what could be a drag of a chore into something whimsical and special.
